How this works. This index is generated by scanning open scientific literature (research papers, methods sections and published protocols) via the Europe PMC and OpenAlex APIs (the latter adding MDPI and Wiley journals) for mentions of SciAps and ASD instruments, then extracting the application, sample types, methods and reported performance from each publication. It refreshes on a weekly schedule.
Confidence labels. “Verified in abstract” means the instrument use is stated in the paper’s abstract; “full-text mention” means the instrument was identified in the body or methods section of the paper. Summaries are machine-extracted — always consult the linked publication (DOI) as the authoritative source.
